Reflections: 21 Things I’ve Learned in 7000 plus Days of Living

The new year is just 30 days old and I’ve been living in this world for 7000++ days. For the past month, I’ve been doing a lot of reflections about my life. So far this is what I learned about myself and this world:

1. I like girls who like me. I fall for women who fall for me. Any incompatibility will be a case of social polarity.

2. I am no career person. For the past four years I had four jobs. I don’t see myself receiving any loyalty award from any company.

3. There is a fine line between abundance mentality and being assertive. When you couldn’t care less of letting go of anything…anyone…anytime…you should also know when to fight for what is yours.

4. Ask and you shall get. You got the girl because you made the move. You got straight As because you studied hard. You got the champion’s trophy because you dreamed about it the moment you stepped on the court. And did you noticed that everytime I used the word “you” here it is followed by a past tensed verb? Action reaps rewards.

5. The world won’t give you exactly what you asked for. It doesn’t always fall on your lap. More often than not, it will fall beside you. So you have to stand, walk and get it. That’s because people don’t value what they get easily.

6. Mindset is king. Its the best self-help technique, mastery of this matter is fucking gold.

7. Para san pang mga galos mo kung titiklop ka lang. - Puso, Sponge Cola

8. Everything you get comes with a price. Gain something, lose something. That’s how the universe works.

9. You attract what you convey. Whether its women, friends, adventure slash unfortunate events, career opportunities or money, it will all depend on how you run your world

10. If you’re in for the wrong reasons you’ll be out in no time.

11. We live in one planet but on completely different worlds.

12. If you give your balls to a woman she will crush them for you.

13. Love can be summoned and directed upon. Which leads us to….

14. Your emotions will always try to fuck you up.

15. Its fun to remember feel good memories in public, even if people think your crazy. What’s crazier is people would rather not smile just to avoid being tagged as crazy yet they never stop whining why they’re unhappy.

16. If you don’t control your life someone else will.

17. I have a lot of interests. Which is cool because I enjoy doing a lot of things. But I don’t wanna be “jack of all trades, master of none” kinda guy.

sorry.. couldn’t resist calculating… (did it manually, mind you! am a math genius!) nway.. ‘cept for item#2 & 12, i am sure i had the same realizations, one time or another.. pero lugi ako sayo dahil it took me 10 more years to learn em..
